OpenClip takes a long video (a podcast, stream, webinar, or any recording), finds the moments most likely to perform on short-form platforms, and turns them into vertical, captioned clips. You upload once and leave with a set of clips, a transcript, and written content, all generated from the same source video.

## The core flow [#the-core-flow]

1. **Submit a video** from a file upload or a URL. See [Quickstart](https://openclip.app/docs/getting-started/quickstart/).
2. OpenClip transcribes it, analyzes the content, and detects **Viral Moments**: clip candidates ranked by predicted engagement.
3. Review moments in the **Content Hub**, then fine-tune any clip in the **editor**: captions, trims, filler-word removal, and branding.
4. Download clips, share them with a link, or **schedule them** straight to your social accounts.
