# Brand settings (https://openclip.app/docs/brands/settings/)

Open [https://openclip.app/brands](https://openclip.app/brands) and click a Brand to edit it. The settings form has three tabs: **General**, **Captions**, and **Voice**. A live preview next to the form updates as you change settings.

## General [#general]

| Setting | Details |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Name | The Brand's display name. Click the refresh icon to generate a random one. |
| Brand logo | Optional. PNG, JPG, or SVG, up to 2 MB. Used in previews and as the watermark. |
| Logo watermark | Toggle. Shows your logo as a watermark on exported videos. |
| Repurpose into text content | Toggle. Generates social posts, blog posts, newsletters, and SEO content from every processed transcript. Uses 1 processing minute per minute of video. |

When the logo watermark is on, three more controls appear:

| Control | Options | Default |
| -------- | ------------------------------------------------------ | ------------ |
| Position | Top left, top right, center, bottom left, bottom right | Bottom right |
| Opacity | 0 to 1 | 0.8 |
| Size | 0.1 to 2 | 0.15 |

## Captions [#captions]

Pick a caption preset from the gallery, then fine-tune it with style overrides (font, colors, animation, and more). The preset plus your overrides become the Brand's caption style, applied to every clip processed with this Brand.

On the Free plan, only the basic presets (Clean and Dan) are available for Brands. Paid plans unlock the full gallery. See [captions](https://openclip.app/docs/clipping/captions/) for what each preset looks like and which styling options exist.

## Voice [#voice]

The personality preset controls the tone of AI-generated text: clip titles, descriptions, and repurposed content.

| Preset | Voice |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Professional | Clear, direct, precise. No slang or emojis. |
| Gen-Z | Internet-native and casual. Short sentences, hot takes. |
| Creator | YouTube and podcast host energy. Conversational and warm. |
| Provocative | Bold and contrarian. Strong opinions, punchy sentences. |
| Custom | Your own tone description, in your own words. |

New Brands default to Professional. If you pick Custom, you must write a description of the voice you want (up to 1,000 characters). Keep it to tone and style guidance; instruction-like commands are rejected.

## Saving and limits [#saving-and-limits]

Changes apply to videos you submit after saving. Already-processed videos keep the settings they were processed with.

Creating or duplicating a Brand counts toward your plan's Brand limit (see the [overview](https://openclip.app/docs/brands/overview/)). Editing an existing Brand never does.
