Social scheduling
Connect your social accounts and schedule clips to publish automatically from a calendar.
Social scheduling lets you publish clips to your social accounts on a schedule, straight from OpenClip. You connect accounts once, then schedule posts from the calendar at https://openclip.app/social or directly from the Viral Moments editor.
Social scheduling is part of the Pro plan and is being rolled out gradually. If the Social section is not visible in your workspace, it is not enabled for your account yet.
Supported platforms
All six platforms are live and connectable. Limits below are enforced when you schedule a post.

Connect an account
- Go to https://openclip.app/social/accounts.
- Pick a platform and click connect.
- Sign in with that platform and approve the requested permissions.
Each connection uses the platform's own OAuth flow. OpenClip only requests the scopes it needs to upload and publish video on your behalf.
Facebook and Instagram share one connection flow. Connecting with Facebook Login lets you pick from your Facebook Pages and any Instagram Professional accounts linked to them, and you can select several targets at once. You need at least one Facebook Page; to publish Reels, the Page must have an Instagram Professional account linked. Approve every permission in the consent screen. If any is declined, the connection fails and you are asked to reconnect. Instagram can also be connected on its own through Instagram Business Login.
Connections belong to your current team, so everyone in the workspace schedules to the same accounts. You can disconnect any account from the same page.
Schedule a post
The fastest path is from the editor:
- Open a clip in the Viral Moments editor.
- Open the Schedule to Social Media dialog.
- Pick a date and time under Schedule for.
- Select one or more connected accounts.
- Optionally edit the caption per account, within each platform's character limit.
One scheduled post can target several accounts at once. OpenClip publishes to each selected account at the scheduled time.
Manage the calendar
The calendar at https://openclip.app/social shows every scheduled post for your team, month by month. Click a post to see its details, change it, or delete it. Deleting a scheduled post before its publish time means nothing is posted.
Credits
Publishing costs credits: 1 credit per successful publication to each account. A post scheduled to three accounts costs 3 credits when it publishes. Failed or skipped publications do not consume credits.
Troubleshooting
