Brands overview

What a Brand is, how it gets applied to your videos, and how many you can have on each plan.

A Brand is a saved processing profile. It bundles your caption style, logo watermark, and content voice into one profile that OpenClip applies automatically every time you submit a video.

Manage your Brands at https://openclip.app/brands. The page is titled Brand Profiles in the app. Old /agents links redirect here.

Why use Brands

Without a Brand, you would restyle every batch of clips by hand. With one, every video you submit comes out already matching your look: same captions, same logo placement, same tone in generated copy.

Brands are shared with your team. Everyone on the team sees the same list and can submit videos with any of them.

How a Brand gets applied

  1. You submit a video from an upload or a URL (see the quickstart).
  2. The upload form has a Brand selector. Your team's first Brand is preselected by default.
  3. OpenClip processes the video using that Brand's captions, watermark, and voice settings.

Every new account starts with one default Brand, created automatically on signup. If you join a team that already has Brands, no extra one is created.

Managing Brands

On https://openclip.app/brands, each Brand card shows its name, logo, caption style preview, and how many videos use it. Open the card's menu (the three-dot button) for these actions:

ActionWhat it does
EditOpens the Brand's settings page
DuplicateCreates a copy of the Brand with the same settings
DeleteRemoves an unused Brand permanently. Brands associated with any Video cannot be deleted.

A duplicate counts toward your plan's Brand limit. If your team is already at the limit, duplicating is blocked until you delete an unused Brand or upgrade.
