Sharing and exporting
Share clips with a public link, download them, and export transcripts.
Once a clip looks right in the editor, you have several ways to get it out of OpenClip.
Public share links
Every clip can have a public share link. Click share in the editor and OpenClip mints a link of the form https://openclip.app/s/{token}. Anyone with the link sees a public player page for the clip; no OpenClip account needed.
A few things to know:
- The token is the only key. The link is unguessable, does not expire, and there is no per-viewer access control.
- Rotate the link to invalidate it. Rotating mints a new token; the old link stops working immediately.
- The shared clip follows your plan. On the Free plan the shared clip carries the OpenClip watermark.
Downloading clips
- Single clip: use export in the editor. The clip renders in your browser as an MP4, with your trims and captions baked in. Exports do not use credits.
- Multiple clips: in the Clips tab of the Content Hub, enter selection mode, pick the clips you want, and download them together.
Transcript downloads
Full Video transcripts are available from the Content Hub in four formats:

Sentence export is not available for clips. Clip transcript exports include any corrections you made.
Scheduling to social
You can publish without leaving OpenClip. In the editor, click Schedule to Social to queue the clip for your connected accounts. See social scheduling for connecting accounts and managing your queue.
