Account warmup is the practice of easing a new posting account into ordinary usage patterns, over days rather than hours, before scaling to full posting volume. In practice that means using the account the way a person would (browsing, watching, occasionally interacting), posting at a modest cadence at first, completing the profile, and avoiding the signals that cluster around automated or bulk-created accounts such as immediate high-frequency posting, an empty profile, or a fresh account paired with a fresh device fingerprint. The purpose is narrow: warmup reduces the chance of being caught by new-account heuristics, and it does nothing at all for content that is genuinely duplicated, unlicensed or rule-breaking. Clippers running several accounts also treat separation as part of warmup, keeping distinct credentials and sessions per account rather than rotating many accounts through one environment. There is no published timetable for any platform, so treat warmup as risk reduction with an unknown coefficient rather than as a procedure that guarantees anything.
